We are excited to announce the June 2024 update for our delivery management software, packed with innovative features designed to enhance your experience and streamline your operations. This release introduces several key enhancements and new features:
1. AI-Driven Automation and Assistance
AI is becoming increasingly popular and is undeniably the future. Our team is dedicated to elevating WooDelivery with AI-driven automation and assistance. Our primary goal is to boost operational efficiency by automating routine tasks through AI-powered workflows for task management and process automation. Additionally, we are implementing machine learning models for predictive maintenance and anomaly detection. Over the next 12 months, you will see numerous new AI-powered features integrated into our platform.
In fact, AI has already started making a significant impact on our system. For example, our new automated notification system now utilizes the latest generative AI to assist users in writing notification emails and text messages. Our AI assistant can analyze your notification settings, such as trigger events, recipient information, and task type, and generate well-crafted notification messages in your local language with just one click.
2. REST API Version 2
We are pleased to announce the release of Version 2 of our web API. This upgrade enhances security, adheres to standard REST API protocols, and introduces numerous improvements. One of the key features of this version is the support for batch actions, such as updating task statuses or assigning tasks to drivers in bulk, reducing the number of necessary connections.
Additionally, we have published new and comprehensive REST API documentation. This documentation includes detailed field definitions, endpoint descriptions, and examples, making it highly developer-friendly. You can access the new API documentation under the Settings – Integration section of your admin dashboard.
We want to assure you that if your application is currently connected to our old web API, it will not be affected by this release. The old web API will continue to function as before. However, we recommend that you upgrade to API V2 at your convenient time to take advantage of the improvements.
3. New Automated Invoicing Module
Managing invoices for your merchants and customers has never been easier. Our new automated invoicing module allows you to create invoicing schedules on a daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or quarterly basis. Simply set your preferences, and let our system handle the rest, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and billing for your services.
You can create different invoicing schedules for different merchants. For example, you might set some merchants to monthly invoicing and others to weekly invoicing. Additionally, you can assign different invoicing and billing dates for each merchant. The system will automatically generate consolidated invoices for completed tasks based on your settings, making the process seamless and efficient.
4. Billing Information Management for Merchants
In our latest release, you can now efficiently manage billing information for each merchant directly on the Merchant page of the admin dashboard. Each merchant will have separate sections for store delivery details and billing details. When you generate an invoice for a merchant, the invoice header will automatically populate with the billing details from the merchant’s profile, ensuring accuracy and saving you time.
